Bathford Allotments is a working allotment site in the middle of the village, established in 1880 and run by volunteers for Bathford Parish Council. Whether you want to grow your own vegetables or just find out how the site works, everything you need is below.

Plot rents

Rents are set each year by the Parish Council. All plots also take a refundable £50 deposit.

How to join

  1. Email the volunteers at allotments@bathford.net and tell us the size of plot you would like.
  2. We add you to the waiting list. Bathford residents take priority; from there the list is worked through in order.
  3. When a plot comes up we email you, and you let us know within two weeks if you would like it.
